- FF9 : Canary -

"Why should the world exist without me? That wouldn't be fair. If I die, we all die!"

I am working hard re-uploading old cosplays. XDDD I chose this one because Kuja has been on my "want to cosplay" list for god knows how long now - ever since I first played FF9 all those years ago, he has endured as one of my favourite characters of all time. He's so flamboyantly theatrical and self-confident, but at the same time, there is so much depth to his character - he is, really, human nature laid bare. The want for attention, the wish to be something important, the inability to accept that we are all but a small speck in the larger universe. Perhaps that's part of the reason why I love yet pity him so much.

I'm so so glad that I finally managed to shoot this cosplay back in February, even though it was around 7 degrees only that day, and I was in a crop top and bikini bottoms next to the sea! I'm pretty sure we painted a pretty funny image, with 2 photographers and an assitant dressed up in puffy jackets + scarves and gloves, and Zidane and myself in... not much cloth. XDDDDD
